Flukes

A couple of strangers living on the fringes of an urban wasteland, become unlikely bedfellows when they stumble upon a mysterious, seemingly magical, object. They come to believe it holds the power to manifest their deepest desires and deliver them from their insignificant existence.

But what appeared to be a blessing quickly becomes a curse. The more they use the object the more they are consumed by this magical belief, pushing them to further and further extremes, ultimately leading to hysteria and heinous acts that no amount of magic can save them from.
